Science Mentoring Workshop: Undergraduates

  • February 1 & March 8, 2017
  • Harvard Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships

  • A short workshop in which students learn and discuss strategies for developing the goals of a lab section and planning the functional aspects of that lab, with a particular focus on prioritizing your time as well as your students’ time.

Teaching as Storytelling

  • September 2016 – November 2016
  • Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning
  • A 6-week workshop where students receive the same training as those enrolled in the Harvard Horizons program, just without the accolades. Students learn how to use important aspects of storytelling in traditional academic and personal situations to better communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. At the end of the workshop, students record one of their developed stories in the studio, producing a usable video for their work.
